Friends (Joanna Sheen DT card) ...

Well time for another challenge on the Joanna Sheen Challenge blog
and this time the theme is 'Flower Power'
Now we crafters all love to use flowers to embellish our
projects so this should be an easy one!

My card has been made using the gorgeous House Mouse Flower Power decoupage
and I just love this image, I love them all actually, hehe!
I have used some gingham paper from the Papermania Capsule collection,
matted onto some 'what I call' Cadbury colour paper from my local Payperbox.
Hand stitched, ribbon, ladybird, button, gems and twine from my stash.
Heart charm from The Ribbon Girl.
Sentiment is from the delightful Jane Shasky CD
I have coloured the bottom layer of the decoupage with Promarkers
which is what I usually do with stamped images but it works really well on
these decoupage sheets too, super smooth
and layered up using Collall Glue.
Here is a close up of the many layers and plenty of cutting!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Creative Craft Challenges - Animal Antics (I won First Place & GDT)!

Make sure you come and play along with us for this one, we have a daily
talent spot, weekly blog candy and goodies for the winner.
We now host challenges every fortnight so don't miss out.

Take care, Jane x

Friends are Special Treasures ...

Well I couldn't resist colouring another one of this little cutie pie, such a delight.
Krista is such an amazing artist don't you think.
---
Well I decided to go a bit more vibrant with the colours on this one.
Rather pleased with her black hair as I have a tendency to go for brown alot.
I have also used my Promarkers once again,
Tim Holtz border die for the lace
Sentiment again from Create with TLC
Backing paper by Nitwits
Gorgeous Hydrangea felt flower using the 'Loopy Bloom' die
with some seam binding for the foliage.
Pearls and Kraft card from my stash, almost forgot I have run
the Kraft card through a heart ribbler which I purchased right back when
I started crafting, can't for the life of me think where I got it from but this is what it
looks like!
Hand stitched, can't seem to stop stitching, just seems like the card
isn't finished if I don't!

Thank you to all my followers and the lovely comments you leave
I really appreciate your time and support
Happy Crafting

Happy Birthday to a Special Guy ...

I made this for my baby (he turned 20 last month) he doesn't mind a cute card, bless him!
Purchased Edwin from the last release of Magnolia stamps and he was my
favourite of the entire collection. I have seen a few sneak peaks of the next Magnolia collection
and I really NEED some.
---
Anyways, I decided to cut away the front of this card to create the clouds which
I have done this freehand.  The inside back of the card is the sky complete with
a sun which I cut out with my Slice.  Distressing the clouds with TH inks really adds depth.
Coloured with Promarkers, completely hand stitched once again,
sound like a  record, sorry.
Some Kraft card from my stash, fence die & bunting die.
Garden twine from my shed :)
Grass hand cut, really must invest in a die, me thinks.
The sentiment is from a set from Tickled Pink stamps which is not
I believe available anymore?
---
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges -
Here come the Boys - Tiddly Peeps (I won Top 3)!!!
---
That is all from me today, have a great day, crafting or not
take care, Jane x

You're Not Alone ...

Today I have this delightful image from the most talented and
wonderful Krista over at the Saturated Canary.  She is called 'Boobies' and came about
after Krista was asked to design a breast cancer image.
---
Really enjoyed colouring this gorgeous girl using my Promarkers.
Papers were a free download but I can't find the link, if you recognise them
please contact me as I would like to credit where credit is due.
UPDATE - Jules bless you, thinks the papers were a free download
from Pink Petticoat some years ago.  I can't say whether they are for sure
as time has past but it is a possibility!
I have highlighted the pink ribbon on her t-shirt with pink gems from my stash
Sentiment is from Create with TLC
Both the lace and flowers have been made using Tim Holtz dies -
Vintage Lace & Tattered Flower Garland.
Glossy accents once again for the eyes!
Completely hand stitched as always.

Thanks for popping by my blog today
Take care, happy crafting
